Interesting hypotheses and well researched background information presented in the book by an intelligent author. But the blurring between archaeology and speculation is a bit off putting. Not surprising that there is a connection to Graham Hancock. From chapter 4, after a nice little review on our mistreatment of the planet he writes « We are a fragile species on a fragile planet. The ancient Greeks knew that. » can we make such a blanket statement?
