Selena Gomez has found her voice with the rare album however that cannot be said with this EP. Be honest if this EP wasn't Selena Gomez and instead a newcomer would you listen to it? As an Ecuadorian who is fluent in Spanish you can definitely tell that she struggle with her pronunciation and if you're going to do an album and can't speak then maybe you shouldn't do it. Many will not understand her lyrics unless you google translate it and let me tell you its BASIC. I think Selena has some good hits but her diving into this EP and EVERY.SINGLE.SONG IS LITERALLY ABOUT LOVE. The beat to the songs are quite repetitive and the fact that most of her songs had either 8- 9 writers for that just shocks me. Im not sugar coating anything some will say this is great but their biased. I never write review but I just had too. This album is called Revelacion but it DID NOT REVEAL ANYTHING!!! BUT you know which album did and you can tell they took their time to create something new and raw is SIN MIEDO BY KALI UCHIS. Im just comparing their albums on how one is very mediocre and one give you chills and this is important to showcase because Selena those the bare minimum and everyone says its sooo good when in reality its not. I like Selena Gomez and I'm a fan however it does leave me in shock how people who don't understand and listen to spanish music will be biased just cuz its her. I wished she had delved into her mexican roots and could have done a ranchera with a spin that everyone could enjoy but instead she does this and it saddens me.
