I loved this show as it provided a meaningful storyline to follow. The plot takes you through the experiences of the characters. At each turn of the story, you are left wondering what options the characters will take. The outcomes are surprising, and therefore the writing is effective. The characters are believable and each one has a depth to them. My favourite detail in the story was the muddy footprints across the floor of the luxury home. This is not a story about crime or about sex or violence. It is about family, relationships, partnerships, and the impacts that our decisions have on others. One of the themes is about guilt, and how do we deal with that. We can't escape our past. We can't pretend that we never made mistakes. We can try, but we can't outrun the consequences of our actions. There's always a "Better" choice in every decision that we make, and we can start today by taking it.
