Hard to fault Octavia Spencer's and Jahzir Bruno's performance in a sweet & warm adaptation of the book. However, Anne Hathaway's voice coach should never work in the business again. A cross between dracula and daffy duck.

Hilarious movie, comedically over-acted. Within the first few minutes I knew I'd like it. The lowly critic's reviews prove one thing and that is, that they are stuffy straight-laced snobs who can't just see this movie for what it is, a good laugh and very silly.

A good adventure rruined by the over exposure of Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Far too much of her. She ruined the film for me and I turned it off after an hour.

Good story and we'll acted by lead, however not sure if the lab scenes with the female scientist are a spoof as the acting is the worst I've seen, wooden.

Mel Brooks at his best Gene Wilder's best and most silly performance. The writing is near perfect, though a little dated with some of the gags. However, my favourite part in the film is the Abby Normal skit to discribe the monster"s brain. Hilarious! A must see for any Brooks and Wilder fans. Look out for Putting on the Ritz dance sequence, you will cry with laughter.
