Beautifully written story, perfectly performed as an audiobook by Marin Ireland. It’s got some emotional highs and lows, sad events, surprises, and important points to remember for the future. And it has a happy ending, if you choose it

I didn’t actually read the book, but listened to it. The performers were amazing, a man for the octopus and a woman for everyone else. Such feeling went into the narration of the story. I loved the brilliance of Marcellus, the octopus, and the way he was able to orchestrate various aspects of the story. The intricate parts of the story were beautifully intertwined. Very interesting storyline and excellent narration!

Another winner by the amazing author Fredrick Blackman! His writing style is so unique, so visual, humorous and heartbreaking all at the same time. A story of love and friendship, and a painting, grabs the reader and holds on. I didn’t read the book, but listened to it, as I have done for all his other books, brilliantly and emotionally performed by narrator Marin Ireland.

Another winner by Gabrielle Zevin! The story kept me thinking about the setting and details long after finishing the book. I didn’t actually read the book, but listened to the ebook, excellently performed by Cassandra Morris.

Another fantastic addition to Mitch Albom׳s book list. So much information I never knew: the evil Nazis entered Greece, with only a small fraction of its Jews surviving the Holocaust. An amazing story that basically follows 4 main characters through the years. I listened to the audiobook, read by the author. Like all of his books, this one grabs the reader right at the start. I give all of his books 5 stars, but I think this is the best one, and I feel like this is the story he was meant to write!
