Oh my God. This film was the amazing, an absolute masterpiece. Many people are turned away from this movie because of its long scenes and lack of action. But I think in order to truly enjoy the film you need to understand it is not like other Science Fiction movies, but almost like a opera. In the end 2001 is a film everybody should watch at least once in their lifetime.
