The rollplay part of RPG blows away anything since KOTOR 1, maybe anything before too. But it's the world and gameplay that make this a Game of the Year heavy hitting competitor near the level of The Witcher 3. The Outer Worlds doesn't push for the deep emotional impact of Wild Hunt, instead opting to feed your analytical side. (What if your employer was the only government? What if national boarders were employers instead of geography?) The combat is stellar, the progression system is the first progression system I have every enjoyed using, and OHMYGOD do i love the world that has been built! Also it's the closest thing to a Firefly RPG that we'll ever get to play, so LET'S DO THIS!
