A โdocumentary โ that presented the son of a Hamas Deputy Minister as โan ordinary child in Gazaโ. Consequently, it portrayed his alleged daily struggles to survive amidst Israel's military action in Gaza without asking searching questions as to whether the boy's Hamas father had helped to bring this situation about, or whether his father's position allowed the family a more privileged position than ordinary Gazan civilians.
The fact that the โordinary childโ found by the documentary makers turned out to be so close to Hamas must raise questions as to how close the production company are to Hamas, and therefore how genuinely independent and unbiased they are.
Another boy featured in the documentary was supposedly followed through the events of a single day, but in different scenes had quite different looking hair and wore several different shoes, suggesting the whole thing was much more staged than the programme admitted.
Since the programme contained these quite easily exposed distortions it may well have contained others harder to spot and consequently cannot be relied on as a source of reliable information.
It is time for transparency, and resignations.
BBC is a biased media who has become a mouthpiece for terror. It cannot call terrorism by its name. The BBC has become a spokesperson for terrorists.
