The author has a very misguided grasp of not only women, mental illness and disorders, but also writing and indirect vs direct speech. Clusmy writing, and an incessant desire to appear deep, philosophical and groundbreaking without any thought behind it at all. Touches on sensitive topics like stillborns, rape and abusive relationship to appear edgy but lacks depth or wit. An unpleasant read.
