I wasn’t a fan. I thought it was sloooooow. While I appreciate the cinematography, the dark nature of it added to the slow sleepiness of the movie, and did it bother anyone else that in their sleeping quarters, you could see the walls shimmer like they were made of fabric? I knew who was going to be the new Pope within the first 10 minutes. I wanted the plot to be more twisty than it was, and although I loved the cast, I didn’t think the plot gave them much chance to act. It felt like everyone had taken Prozac before they began filming.
