Of course, The Book Thief made me buy this book. And there really cannot be just one adjective to wholly describe Bridge of Clay. It was incredibly long, sad, slow paced and brilliantly beautiful. The book makes you think a lot about grief, separation, independence, love and most of all, brotherhood and family. I enjoyed it so much. It leaves you feeling warm and wholesome, for a very long time.
