SPOILERS AHEAD! Really enjoying the story so far. A bit confused how Lodi went from being sucked through time and having a mental freak out over learning about the Golden Age and Collapse and someone in his head to then leading a mission to fend of an Archon. But I think that's more me than the story. I'm recording stuff so I'll go back over dialogue. Love the VA for Lodi. He really brought it with the emotions and reactions. Still have more to go but I like it. Takes a bit of getting used to with navigation but it's just a matter of learning it, and the matterspark I find fun. Yeah, it's unlike anything we've done before, but we're on an alien planet, so ... Still find it weird how NPC's say 'come talk to me' and teleport but our Guardian has to travel the long way, or NPC's just leave after a convo with no acknowledgement of our Guardian. Would be nice to see a little more interaction there. Have an issue with Ikora. Not the VA. I know why we have a fill in. She's great. It's the writing. Ikora seemed very cold and unfeeling in this one so far. Especially when Lodi was trying to grasp the time travel and the Collapse and was in a panic. The VA really brought the emotion there and Ikora just stood there silent. There was no offer of comfort or understanding of how he must fee or an attempt to be more gentle in explaining the world we're in. Ikora isn't a character to walk up and hug someone who she's not close to, I know, but this still felt off for her. Too detached and unfeeling. Would consider fixing that. Like others, I've noticed the sound cutting out, especially during weapon's firing. And I did get kicked twice. But nothing horrible. Oh, also liked the changes to the armor and the leveling. Definitely felt more like D1. A lot of people are complaining, but I found it much easier and familiar from D1, so I'm not sure why they think it's giving us less power and don't like it. *Shrug* And I really like some of the new weapons, too! The new auto rifle and the exotic scout (I forgot the names) have been hitting hard. That exotic scout is definitely a new favorite! Excited to see where this story goes when I hop back in later.
