I've been a fan of this book since it came out, reading it over and over again, the same sentences, the same pages. I prepared myself to be disappointed by the movie, as most movies are when based off of a book... I couldn't have been more wrong. Throughout the entire movie, I couldn't stop smiling, laughing, and even crying at some scenes; I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Alex and Henry, played by Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine, had the most intense chemistry I've ever seen for a good decade. They were the perfect cast for the characters. Their acting was top notch; I got attached to them within 20 minutes of the movie. Although there were some changes from the book, I barely even noticed simply from how alive the movie itself made me. I highly recommend this movie, as you'll have the time of your lives and possibly change your life in some ways. I consider myself as part of the fanbase, so please give us a sequel. Please! We need more screentime of Nicholas and Taylor together
