if you enjoy getting your arse beat for 12 hours a day, for a month to push your "item level" to an acceptable level, only for activision (blizzard) to give better gear than you have away every 2 months, then go for it. (you only get a month to enjoy your gear, and if you dont play for 12 hours a day good luck ever enjoying the "decent" (not best) gear.) Its actually more enjoyable to play on a free account (up to level 20) as you will have more fun running dungeons with friendly people, who arent worried about "meta" score, and are just playing to have fun.
