The bits about motherhood and learning to trust oneself I agree with. However, the ideas, the calling, the insights cater to the privileged women/men/people who have not to worry about being left cold in the wild with no family, no education, no institutional support structures. So many women are subject to patriarchy in an all-consuming way that for those women to truly find their voice, their place, their calling is next to impossible. A book won’t change their lives, but feminism put to action through education, skill development, institutional support etc will.
