I enjoyed this Movie. My Grandfather did not return from WW2, my Mum had only a couple of brief memories and my Grandmother never got over it. The story of this film is about is about a family's search for some who was lost. The loss this time was to our enemy. Showing the human loss and tragedy of the war. Pearl Harbor is shown and the Kamikaze. The characters are fictional. I know the history, I have been to the Arizona memorial. The movie still worth watching. some critics claim this glosses over atrocities, glorifies the attack and the Kamikaze. My thought it showed them as humans. Someone lost.
