I'm underwhelmed. As a fan of the books, I feel that After We Collided is slightly better that the first movie as it contains more aspects of the story line found in the book, but i still feel that they took out the majority of the drama that made the books do so well in the first place and i believe this occurred due to the backlash that the books and the first movie received as some people seem to have viewed Hardin and Tessa's relationship as toxic and thought it should not be portrayed in that light as to not influence younger audiences, but i have to disagree with those statements as the toxicity portrayed in the books and movies adds to the drama and keeps you hooked so you feel the need to keep reading/watching the movie/books, like there is no real love triangle in the first movie Hardin, Tessa and Zed were supposed to be in a love triangle but we never got to see that be portrayed in the movies, instead of Zed and Tessa in the second movie, Zeds position was supposed to be filled by Trevor but i think that Tessa and Trevor had no chemistry what so ever, they seemed like regular co workers/ friends, and even when Hardin was talking to Tessa it seemed as though there was no meaning behind his words like they were empty, vice versa. i guess the movie was okay to someone who hasn't read the books and doesn't know the story line but as someone who has read the books i think it barely resembled them. i know you cant have all of the book put into a 1 hour 30 mins movie but you cant just take a huge chunk of the story line out either. okay, I'm done. rant over.
