Two episodes in, and it's a mess of clichés, where subtlety and storytelling is replaced by characters glowering meaningfully at one another, and spouting bad exposition.
It seems firmly aimed at fans of 50 Shades; a dark, brooding, experienced older man with mean streak and a kind soul, and a bright, innocent woman who is way too smart to get caught up in this, but who just *breathy glace* can't *intoxicated gaze* resist!
It is, however, beautiful to look at, both in terms of cast, and locations. Maybe it will pick up, and allow what looks like a talented cast to actually act, rather than pose like they are in a designer fragrance ad.
