I finished this film feeling disappointed. Disappointed that it didn’t live up to the hype. Disappointed that despite an intriguing set up we got a mess of a pay off that was virtually incoherent. Disappointed that a few genuinely inventive, funny scenes (hot dog fingers, the rocks, the corridor abstract murder scene) were either flogged to death further on or were left unfulfilled. This film could have been so much more if everyone involved had just told the film makers that about two thirds in it stops making sense and they aren’t as clever as they obviously think they are.
