The movie was ok however felt there was significant issues in many parts of the movie. There are no "good" male characters (father and prince were both "bad"). I felt the ending was an allegory to bringing down the patriarchal structure while condoning mother's vengeance no matter the evil done to others in the name of that vengeance. Yes the animations and graphics are great, it's ruined by bad acting and predictable plot.

Show is ok but full of cringe... there are not so subtle political messaging throughout the show along with a large amount of diversity which feels forced... the major problem with the show was the predictability and the stupidity of the teenage characters... It really annoyed me the behavior and treatment they exhibited along with the obvious ease they were able to do everything (breaking into secret facility, hacking a website, overriding security protocols, hacking home networks). Lastly they fall into the freezing troupe when they killed off every main male character... spoiler (dad, husband, teenage boyfriend)
