spoiler free review uwu
I rarely write book reviews but this one was just too touching to not be written about. I love it so much. It has been one of my favorites for the longest time. The characters are so humane, and the way the author arises hope in the reader only to crush it all the way more, absolutely devastating. And the soundtrack for the movie is immaculate too. The casting was great for the film adaptation, and the way the ending went was great but it lacked the empathy the protagonist had for her friends, even the much ruthless ones.
*definitely not a pun*
And people saying these things don't happen and that it is very unrealistic for humans to be used like that, DO YOU NOT ACKNOWLEDGE BLACK SLAVERY AND HISTORY'S OTHER DESTRUCTIVE EXPLOITATION OF HUMANS? I loved this book and I recommend you give it a go. Hope this helped. <3
