summer in the bin

I was born in the 2000s but spacejam is my favourite movie of all time and still feels nostalgic to me even if I never saw it on release so when I saw spacejam 2 was out I dragged my best friend to come and see it with me. After watching it I felt almost empty I thought I was missing something. so I went again. that's when it occurred to me. space jam a new legacy isn't a movie based off of an advert like its predecessor, its an advert based off of a movie. we spend half the movie getting other Warner brothers franchises thrown in our face to the point where its more time than they get to play basketball which is the whole point of the movie. I don't mind when there are cross franchise cameos, sometimes they work really well but putting pennywise and the gang from a clockwork orange in a children's movie? not this. the goon squad is a lazy attempt at being cooler than the monstars the idea if them is really cool but the monstars had character and felt different from one another but the goon squad just felt like Warner bros put some super powers and animals together and expected everyone to go oooo spooky villains that look cool. one of the is literally called something like wet hot WET HOT is the best they could do. to be fair I did like the little bits of water he left on the camera but other than that the goon squad isn't it I'm sorry. I would like to take a moment to thank Don Cheadle and idk if I spelt his name right but his role in Al G. rhythm is great and he had an amazing performance. this movie was made to sell. it has so much merch and yes I do have the space jam converse but that's against the point. nothing in this movie felt genuine it just felt like Warner bros bringing back a movie that so many people love just to sell. this movie makes me feel like lady gaga when she told caitlin jenner she switched batistas.

I love it. its got Danny devito in it. i can't sit through movies but I can sit through this one. because its not a movie, it's art. I seriously love everything about this movie, I dont have the privilege to be born in or before the 90s so I didn't get the full experience but when I tell you that an almost adult laughed abit too much at sylvester the cat saying "we've got balls" I mean it.. because I'm immature. but this movie is everything truly. very underrated and for WHAT. i first saw it in year 6 thinking I would hate it because I wanted to watch nightmare before Christmas but my teacher wouldn't let us. but here I am saying that I describe this movie like the lady gaga "talented brilliant incredible amazing showstopping spectacular never the same" video it's beautiful

I watched this movie when I was in year 5 we were learning about Greek mythology and I thought this was right? apparently its very inaccurate but that doesn't stop me loving it I love the characters the songs the plot is abit messy but oh well. its the most fun in a Disney movie I get. hades is an amazing villain and just a mood all around really. the only true issue I have with the movie is why not just make Meg into a goddess like can they not I'm confused? I love it though

for all the hype this movie had I put it off and put it off until one day my dad decided he wanted to watch it so we did and.... I didn't get it. if I'm talking about the cinematography of this movie it is great noone can actually deny that but it comes to a point where its almost a flaw because yes the movie looks cool and artsy but at the same time what the hell is going on. I don't know why he was dancing so much. I don't know why he did most of it to be honest. maybe it's me maybe I'm too young to understand or get it. but I did get it at points and that's what confused me. also this version of the joker is like 40 or smth and Bruce is 5 I doubt that the joker is scrapping a bat at 70 something but then again could just be me idk
