Fantastic movie, dont know what the critics issues are, its a movie not a mensa test. Spacey was perfect for the role. Brought the issue of the scales of justice to question, no emotion on the side of the system and a lot on the side of the people, how can there ever be balance. Good movie.

We need to find some new words to Praise Movies like this Masterpeice !! Wow just dosen’t cut it. What an Epic event in acting and portrayal of such a Soul, the Stars literally aligned for this one ! On every level. To Create, convince, emotionalise, and entertain is what acting and movie production is all about, a singular combination of all parts of a vehicle of enchantment. Too oft the “professional critics” condem and deconstruct on seperate aspects ? It is the whole that needs to be judged, not the wheels and accesories. 11/10

My opinions have mostly been covered agreeably by Annie just before me, so wont reitterate, just add that as one who has lost a young adult child the 2 main charachters did an Almost perfect job in painting the picture that looks like abstract art from outsiders, yet in my eyes it came so close to portraying that Forever Pain,. Critics lashed it, it was never up for winning awards, I believe it achieved its place.

Absolutley great movie, Kevin Costner has reaffirmed his status in his unique style, one that draws you in even if he never spoke. Script and plot hit the mark, Grandparents, love, fear, and most importantly for watchers, an ending that both evokes multiple emotions, and allows you to say Yesssss ! Top Movie.

It is certainly a masterpiece ! No dispute to that, however I felt slightly depressed by its end, not for the story or narrative as that was exceptional, nah it was for the depressive dull lighting in each and every internal scene, I understand authenticity is required but given there was available electric at the time its blatent omission just influenced the general viewing experience and created a depressive mood seperate to the genuine intention. Acting was beyond superb, and Mr Scorcise beyond question. TM

My goodness what a dissapointment ! More like Being Myriam ? toiler woes, dislike of children, mentioned several times ? Really ? I dont mind a bit of honest and brash humour, but its not a show for personal preferences and gripes, and choice of knickers, A waste of what could have been a good show really, a complete turn off, spoiled by the personal All about me gripes. Not a patch on her home country actors who do great shows and series of many places around the world, like Michael Palin and the great Joanna Lumley.
