It had a good clever plot with several keep them guessing endings. The action scenes were really overdone as if the lead character were a comic book hero and special sensors like the nasty looking alien. Were the sex scenes actually foreplay scenes stolen from a gymnastics meet? For all of exotic hard core sex preparations (I think they took off more clothes than they came in with and definitely had more guns and an infinite supply of bullets than they came to the scene with ), I don’t believe there was a single boob shown. Did anyone notice how many times the would be assailants fired an amazing number of rounds into a narrow pathway within 20 ft of our heroine and they MISSED.Is this actress going to be a superstar ? Maybe with another Director but I think she should stick with modeling.

I wholly agree with what critics and other reviewers have said about Arrival being an exceptional movie. I am not inclined to apply the sci-fi label because the film is philosophically so much more than normally attributed to a sci-fi film. The only issue I have is it again portrays the reaction by the earth world’s people as both militaristic and fearful. The integration of the heroine’s own special life situation was a clever way to steer the public and governmental reaction away from the typical Independence Day narrative. I believe there is more to contemplate about life’s meaning in today’s societies than good conquers evil or take me to your leader(s). I’m just saying?

I watched the excellent story thinking it was largely fictional so the lack of historical authenticity did not take away from a well cast and visually appealing film. Adventures like these are not uncommon in real life at least I have seen some amazing outcomes where those involved look back at accomplishment in face of pure terror. One woman sailor said her ocean voyage was 95 % boredom and 5% sheer fright. This film hit the spot with my experiences. Well done.

It just story like any other story. Telling it differently changes it and judging it for others is pretentious. It kept me entertained which is all I ask. Some people worked hard to create this fantasy and it was kind of fun to see it. Maybe some people liked the three stooges more, I remember laughing some but I like this film much more.

It was an interesting storyline and probably a compelling exposee on a infrequently portrayed part of the post WW 2 era. The acting was good and the characters well defined without the usual over intertwined vague subplots. However the subplot of the Cop's brother was an ugly, horribly gruesome and really overdone in an otherwise good film. Gruesome is not an unexpected element of films of the post war events. This gruesome subplot was something was from some place and some unhealthy individual imported from an institution of the criminally insane. To what end ? If the individual macabre torture scenes were clear as to gather specific important information essential to the film then whatever the outcome of these scenes were very vague to the central plot. Nevertheless I gave a 4 rating to the film because overall it was uniquely and well acted.

It has been an excellent program and I appreciate that the story line ended where it did before its transition to Hulu. This allows me to stop watching it any longer. Regardless of any streaming show’s programming it is no longer worth the time and effort to switch from one network to another. The streaming channels have obviously understood the degree of internet fraud taking place let alone the total lack of any security for the consumer in the total lack of security provided by the email based internet commerce. Streaming services have greatly benefited by from free wheeling access to every existing email account, playing countless trial subscription scams and running short term attractive programming to capture market segments and then burying the subscribers fees into mysterious access and accountability.

I think I just finished Series 2 and hoping to see Atlas in the rear view mirror. Our hero should be promoted to a Pentagon level job in charge of classified field operations. Memphis is a keeper great combination of brain and looks. By looks I also mean the way she moves and interacts in high tension situations. The wife is wonderful and particularly effective in handling tough situation-she has really got it going. DO NOT kill off her daughter but DO NOT add more children. The lead actor is excellent in every situation with a slightly more intellectual bearing evolving.

Best show I have seen in a very long time. The actors and the fantastic collection of characters they play is extremely compelling. I am watching series 2 Episode 1 at the moment. The scene between Jay and his ex-wife is one for the record books. If any aspiring actor(s) could repeat that one scene they could move on with their careers then they have the “right stuff”. Otherwise they should move on. The sound track is not only great it is another show in itself. HUGE FAN!!!!!
