David Eden

A great series I say, haven’t read the novel but i thought this won’t hold me from watching it. Not knowing anything about the story the novel (and the movie that was backlashed) the all in all atmosphere was a bit strange, the build up (as of episode 5) is rather very slow, but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be this way. There’s a lot of unknown details for those of us who didn’t read the novel and you can feel it right from the start and it won’t stop (yeah not even on ep5 but this is my fault entirely, it is based on a book I should’ve read it first) The characters are top quality ones, but the acting seems doll and sometimes unpleasant, emotions are involved on some scenes but no worries it’s nothing to be freaked about the series seems to settle it quiet well. All in all the series has 8 episodes per season and it was already renewed to season 2 which shooting has already started, with each episode an hour long. We have 3 more episodes and telling the truth I liked what I see but it is lacking the thrill, action and magic altogether (they need to spark it and I hope the next episodes will), change of events got me intrigued and I can’t wait for the next episode.
