Absolutely incredible movie that I have watched several times and will watch many more! I am a bit of a U.S. history buff with a particular interest in the treatment of African Americans, particularly in the South. I'm talking pre-Civil War all the way through the 60's and 70's and unfortunately even today. Of particular interest to me is the history of events that took place in Alabama and Mississippi.The Montgomery bus boycott, starting with Rosa Parks refusal to give up her seat on the segregated bus system, has always been of interest to me. I am a huge fan of both Whoopi Goldberg and Sissy Spacek. Spacek is a married wealthy homeowner and Goldberg her maid. The bond of friendship that these 2 develop throughout the movie is heartwarming, especially given the tension of the Jim Crowe laws of the South. I knew of the bus boycott and of Rosa Parks, but didn't know the details of the carpool story. This movie is a must-see. If you've seen the movie 'The Help' you might find this comparable. Both excellent movies!!!!!!

Incredible movie, kudos to that Australian film crew! Extreme and very disturbing violence, but considering it is based on the story of Australia's most prolific serial killer, I kept reminding myself that the graphic images/scenes were probably done pretty close to in-context. Acting is absolutely incredible. Daniel Henshall who plays the lead serial killer is incredible in his role. He starts out what seems to be like one hell of a nice guy. He is helping a family who's teenage boys have been repeatedly sexually assaulted. His character pretty much spirals downhill from there as he sets out for revenge for the boys and as he recruits a few others to help him on his murderous spree. Keep watching his eyes as he talks to others and does his killing, I kept wondering...does this guy ever blink???!!!! He truly portrays evil in its most sinister form! Strongly recommend this movie but again def not for the squeamish or faint of heart!!!!!
