Great enjoyable movie..can be a bit overwhelming but stick with it. The 8 reasons to watch say it all beautifully. And, yes,,Ralph Finnes, is at the top of his game as he always seems to be! Bravo.

Fantastic show on many levels. One of the best historical representations. Of course, there is some dramatic license in places but the narrative captures the characters and their era. It is a cut above other dramas about the period. Acting is superb as are settings and costumes. The best portrayal of misunderstood Mary 1 I’ve ever seen, same for Thomas Seymour. Really, who wouldn’t fall in love with him? Viewers must be patient as this isn’t a “fluff” or watered-down series. Please renew for Season 2!
