Honestly, it wasn't that great. There wernt any real "in-between" scenes to mk me care for the characters and their developing relationships. and I didn't think the love interest had any real chemistry. The relationships seemed rushed and the story line was confusing. That bieng said I did not read the prequel. But if a movie based on books can't stand on its own how good is it really? 🤷🏾‍♀️
