David Osborne

As fine a western as you will ever see. As close to perfection as a film ever gets. The fact that it was nominated for 10 Academy Awards and won 0 is a travesty.

It's beautiful. It's horrible and hard to watch at times but I'm glad I did. I caught myself saying-"Oh no! Oh no!" several times during the watch and I usually don't get that emotionally invested in a movie but I did. It affected me the next day and a few days after as I found my mind drifting back to it. I think it's the finest war movie ever made. And I really don't think it's even close.

I didn't want to like this movie but I did. My wife and I watched it together and we were laughing out loud several times as well as covering our mouths with our hands several times also. I would agree that Lauren Lapkus carries the show but the ensemble cast was great too. It was good to see some old faces doing their thing again.
