Tom Hanks never fails. Like Meryl Streep, he BECOMES the characters he portrays. His son, on the other hand, falls disappointingly short. I hope he has other marketable skills because I don't think acting is in his wheelhouse.
Bring tissues. Its poignant and heartfelt and even sneaks in socio/political commentary as Otto befriends a trans kid who's been disowned. Two hours well spent.
