I enjoyed this movie. It was thought provoking about whether or not to sacrifice a family member in order to save mankind. Dave Bautista gave a wonderful performance . I thought the back ground music was great & set the suspenseful tone. Thumbs up!

John David Washington is outstanding in this movie. A strange paring with Zendaya whose acting skills are still a work in progress.

I'll pass on this show. The writers and producers are exploiting women and portraying Black women in a negative way. We dont need to see these stereotypes on the screen. SMH...

A very good movie with an exceptional performance by Jennifer Hudson. And who knew Marlon Wayans had such a strong dramatic performance in him! Aretha's songs were done justice by JHud. Bravo!!

Couldn't take my eyes off Phoenix. An incredible & captivating performance!

I read the book. This HBO adaptation was very disappointing. Bad casting, especially the Bigger character. Ms. Park omitted major parts of the book which are essential to the story. This is a very important novel and this HBO movie did not do it justice at all. The movie is almost misleading. I am going to see the play Native Son at the Kirk Douglas Theatre in 2 weeks. I'm hoping for better results.
