I thoroughly enjoyed the earlier edition. I was excited to delve into the principle of unity.
But I got derailed on page 368.
The reason? Dr. Cialdini’s use of “Latinx.”
As a Hispanic/Latino American, I am firmly united with the 97-98% of us who don’t use the adjective.
I’m assuming Cialdini is not Hispanic. Maybe he is. But one common gripe about the term stems from a perception that white liberal coastal elitist professors invented the word.
Please correct this in the next edition.
