If to be concise, i pretty much enjoyed the show, the plot was rather interesting and we got some not bad character development. The show is categorized as a "thriller" with murder themes and an average viewer might think " oh this psychopath Joe is lurking in the corner waiting to kill his female victims" . But wait a sec, is murder what Joe really wants? From his portrayel absolutely not. Furthermore, Joe is not a sane person, he is dealing with psychological issues like post trauma , obssession , sociopathy and more. Now we are getting closer to our point. In this show we might see a person with disorders depicted as a murderer. Its the obvious thing that one might get from the netflix review. I didnt come to rant though ^-^... here we get to the part I personally wanted to praise. Throughout the show we can see wats inside Joes head, how he thinks and what drives him.I saw comments about feeling relatability to this man, but of course why not...since hes not an evil man! Many of Joes problems pop out when he is in a moral conflict with himself and his pain and suffering don't entirely come from being chased by policemen or planning murders, they come from wayyy deeper , he is being torn apart between a love-seeking loyal self to his vengeful depressed self . People should acknowledge this things which are (even not so subtly) mentioned in the series. So now one might ask, do i feel like a psychology expert after seeing this show? Not really, since I honestly think and ( correct me if i am wrong ) but Joe's actions and his depictions are not based on depictions of an actuall post-traumatic-sociopath. This series mightbshows us a way to think differently about people with obssessions but its not necceraly correct. What I do know is that people who see this show might treat people with obssessions as if they "think like Joe". Which is not necessarily true. To sum it up, I do think this show gives you a glimpse to the real and main stem of all the murder-misfortunes but i dont think that people who deal with similar psychological issues as Joe should be constantly the main charactets in murder shows. The popular opinion shouldnt be "the problematic ones are dangerous" but it should be thqt they can eventually blend in, but they do need help. Thats it folks, have a nice day!
