This movie was so bad it was painful. I highly recommend you don’t waste your time. Tina Fey, umm, what happened here? HUGE disappointment. There was no need for a musical, every song made me cringe and think of walking out, popcorn in hand. The casting was mediocre, the wardrobe and styling even worse. Is it really so hard to go to a high school and mimic the styles that students are actually wearing? Like, duh. It really came off like a bad parody. I had looked forward to this movie for months. The script and songwriting dumbed down so much that I think Tina Fey literally forgot that she was not writing parody for Saturday Night Live. So yeah. Big waste of 20 dollars for movie ticket and 20 dollars for soda and popcorn. They owe me 500 dollars for my wasted time sitting through this cringe-fest. Ughhhh.
