Typical bad acting, bad writing and bad plot. Very boring. All the characters are insufferable. I did not root for this family to make it. Clearly not one person in the cast a crew gave a hoot about this movie. Its almost painful to watch. The last 5-7 minutes was comically bad. The dads breakdown was actually kind of funny and thats the only reason I gave it 1 star.

This is glorified underaged torture p*rn. The scariest thing about this movie was the acting.

It made no sense. They really tried to shoe horn this idea into the franchise. Everything that made the first movie good and scary is gone. Too many people. CGI out the whazoo. They rely on jump scares way to much and you see them coming from a mile away.

Are you looking to waste 99 minutes of your life? Is your day going too well? Then watch this dumpster fire of a movie. It makes zero sense. You can see the twist coming from miles away, the acting is a step above a prescription drug comercial and the special effects seem like they came with the free trail version of movie making software. If i could grow another thumb I would so i could give it an extra thumb down
