Racism and settler guilt is the only reason this book has a low rating. It’s incredible beautifully written and references a horrific very real history of genocide and the impact it has on indigenous peoples on these stolen lands. The metaphors allegory and story tell is fantastic. I’d love to see this as a miniseries. So many suspenseful moments. It’s like a better handmaids tale. I can’t wait to read the sequel.
