*Spoilers ahead* I had been waiting for this movie for so long, I was beyond excited to see this! The first half was good. I was hopeful! And the the movie turned sharply and went into the trash. I just can't get over Spike getting drugged, having his newly diagnosed terminal mother going off with the doctor and coming back as a skull thrust into Spike's hands, and the boy not shedding one tear? Not freaking the F out over being handed his mom in skeleton form?? No. No way. And the end. What...The...Actual...F?!?! I get Jimmy is the kid from the beginning and has probably seen some things. But track suits and acrobatics and wigs like his sisters? Cult. Duly noted. Absolutely awful, disjointed, why? The ending felt like an insult. The entire second half was embarrassing. I'm sad, this could have been a long awaited masterpiece.
