I find it a bit funny that Rotten Tomatoes gave this movie 3.5 stars. They said no one cared about anyone in the movie. Part of the reason the movie was so good, despite the few bits of "wizardry" type stuff (that I'll agree is kind of silly), the characters had depth. An attorney with a very religious mother, who took a position in a firm that ethically went against his mother's religious & moral values moves to a city to work for a firm that is anything but moral. (Trying not to ruin it so my review is probably less than desirable). Al Pacino, Keanu Reeves, and Charlize Theron all did an outstanding job in their roles.
