I love Celine Song for Past Lives, and yet this film turns out to be a disappointment. Lukewarm. I had high hope as I've watched both The Good Wife and The Good Fight, and I liked Elsbeth's quirkiness as a lawyer. It turns out in this comedy crime drama, what we get is just a female Monk 2.0.
