This movie isn't going to satisfy everyone. It doesn't give you a map that tells you where its going, so if you've never been on the road this movie travels down, you might feel lost and unsatisfied. Annoyed, even. This movie was (for me) an abstract expression of the internal experience of 1 abused girl in so much emotional pain that she wants to die. Instead, she floats away from her body into a conflict-fantasy of her own mind's construction where she's in control, and can use her feminine power instead of dulling it. In her fantasy she has friends who protect her while she regains her strength, in a place where no man can hurt her. For those who think its a man-hate movie, please relax. It's just a woman expressing the emotional experience of being assaulted by a man, and besides, there are countless movies that victimize women horribly purely for entertainment purposes. I also found it interesting that the song that plays at the end (and in one or two earlier scenes, I think) features a chorus of women singing the word "no" in repetition.
