The costuming and makeup was beautiful. Not a fan of the story that was told. This made more sense when I realized it was based on a book, not actually based on the life of MM. the scenes with the 3d rendering of a fetus especially when its talking completely cheapens the entire thing for me. As for Ana De Armas, she didn’t do a bad job actually I think she did great. But unfortunately superficial things like her being a dramatic classic body type and Marilyn being a romantic body type. And although she did a great job masking her accent you can still hear it quite a bit and so I just couldn’t get fully immersed in the film. I was looking forward to seeing this. And I may have given it an unfair shake since I can be a little critical when it comes to movies and shows about MM.
