This has to be the worst film I have ever seen. I was shocked to learn that the main actress has won any awards, because the acting was so bad. The storyline is shallow and predictable; essentially glorified porn. The courtroom scene is laughable. just about every person knows that, when it comes to the law, you have to be in your right mind. Being drunk doesn’t constitute this. No judge is going to rule on anything when the people involved are clearly intoxicated and/or under duress. Maybe if they had attempted to sober him up, it would have been a bit more believable. There is only 1 male character, who is not ridiculously inept and apathetic. The remaining characters are all void of morals and ethics. The main characters are entitled brats. The smallest details can make or break the believability of a film. It is hard to believe the mother character is rich and powerful, when the suit she is wearing is clearly too small. Apparently she cannot afford proper fitting clothes. It seems the budget for this film was so low they couldn’t afford a proper costume director.
