Excellent filmmaking. I was expecting to see more character development of all the boys in the boat, instead of the focus on one character. To a Seattlite, the glaring omission of Douglas Fir, the ubiquitous evergreen tree of the Pacific Northwest, was the unforgivable sin. They could have added some CGI Doug Firs. It was too obvious that the movie was not filmed here, England being a poor substitute for the Pacific Northwest. Otherwise, the film was well made, enjoyable, and satisfying.
