Pros: The locations are stunning, having a darshan of Kedarnath Dham in itself is a privilege Sushant Singh's acting was a tear jerker, beautifully done It was a delight to watch Nitish Bharadwaj again but his character was shown as a spineless creature, so it was irritating Music is nice, especially Namo Namo Shankara Cons: Politically charged narrative. Subject of the text hv to be paid attention to. The makers simply wanted to throw jibes at Hindus using the emotion and name of one of their most important places of worship. Kedarnath being one of the Char Dham Neithet the history, emotion, significance or even the flood that ravaged the valley has been shown by the director in a way to justify the naming of the movie as kedarnath The story is pure propaganda I wud ask u to give it a miss

Alia as usual was annoying. Nothing new plot wise. I didn't like the part one, original Sadak so was expecting this to be better,but surprisingly this was more disappointing that the first film! Aditya Roy Kapoor needs to do something where he will be able to do something other than what he keeps doing in every movie. The only redeeming quality about the movie is its music which doesn't go with the story so much as it stands out as an album itself. Save your time and watch something better.

It's a movie that will make you reflect on your own choices and life in general. How important it is to be self aware, to appreciate the efforts of those who work hard to make a relationship beautiful. Gary is this man child who does things the way he wants to, without caring about anyone else. Brooke is the exact opposite, someone who is well balanced and appreciative of eveyone around her. I knew what was going to happen at the end as it happens in life but still was hoping for something different. The humour is subtle, especially liked Gary's friend to whom he runs to every time he faces trouble. Also Brooke's friend Addie, with her "friendly" tips and tricks to her 😁 when she faces the teenager inside Gary throwing tantrums. Its a good one time watch.

This is a remake of Nadiya Ke Paar (1982) which was set in rural India, depicting the simplicity and charm of village life in India. This movie focuses more of dream sequences, elaborate, huge sets, it's basically a rich city version of the original film. Two things which continue to shine in this movie are Madhuri Dixit(the female lead) and the music (there are more songs in this movie than in a western musical)which will remain with you long after watching this. There are many things which can be called ridiculous in this movie, but it invokes a sense of nostalgia for most of the people, so cannot be called bad. It's entertaining, fun and not as serious as the original movie NKP. I am yet to meet anyone who has not felt tears in their eyes at the climax of NKP. But, this movie has its own charm and a separate fan base. Watch this, if you like heart warming tearjerkers and want to have a slice of 90s Bollywood and the sensation that was Madhuri. But if you a bit mature and want to enjoy the simple rural life of India, then watch Nadiya Ke Paar.

One of the best movies which depicts the simple village life in India where the household revolves around the woman of the house. Chandan, who lives with his uncle and older brother are a family of farmers consisting only of men. He falls in love with his sister in law's younger sister Gunja. But fate takes a serious turn and the young lovers are pushed to grow up overnight and understand the meaning of duty and responsibilities above their own selfish feelings. The first half warms the heart as if drenched in a golden sunlight, filled with beautiful songs and fun sequences. The second half becomes a tear jerker which culminates into a wonderful climax. If one wants to know how people carry themselves in villages, the warmth, the festivals, camaraderie, then they should go for this. I would any day choose this movie over Hum Aapke Hain Kaun which is a remake of this story with dream sequences, huge sets and a city lifestyle(mostly ridiculous but still fun) instead of the simplicity of villages which has been depicted in this movie. Watch this, if you love simple, heartwarming stories.

The movie is exasperating. That's the word for it. The whole experience. STORY The characters are Rumi, Vicky and Robbie. The narrative is illogical as no one behaves in the way they are expected to behave. So the contrast that should have been portrayed by the wild Rumi gets lost. The families don't behave in the way normal people would too. Rumi has been portrayed as this wild, 'muhphat' Tom boyish girl who cleans up well if she wants to, doesn't fear anyone and does what she wants to. Her attraction towards a fun loving, irresponsible and quirky Vicky is understandable but the way Robbie behaves and the reasons he gives for those actions are out of this world. There are several questions that would keep popping up in your mind while watching this movie and you won't get the answers, you won't feel satisfied or feel convinced that, the reason thrown at you is enough for the completely scandalous things happening in the movie. Kashyap has tried to push the supposedly "comic" scenes ans they don't work. Because the premise is so tragic. As the story is as new as the front door mat of every middle class home, what one would expect is some kind of realistic treatment of the subject which is missing completely. You won't be able to root for any character frankly. Rumi is not lovable like Kangana's character in Tanu Weds Manu (2010), Aishwarya's character in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam(1999) or Padmini's Kolhapure's character in Woh Saat Din (1983). And I blame both the direction and Pannu's lack of acting skills for this situation. ACTING Pannu is an utter disappointment. Not that she doesn't try, but she is just so monotonous. Kaushal has done a good job but he seems too sweet and plain to look like an irresponsible man child who is a DJ and also Punjabi munda. He lacks the physical despicable-Ness of the character. Bachhan sails through the movie, does a good job as he mostly does. His acting seems realistic sometimes but the premise of his character is ridiculous and so the flow keeps breaking. The supporting cast has done a good job but the premise is again ridiculous as no one behaves like they are expected to behave in situations which were presented in the movie. They all seem to have given up on their kids (meaning the three leads) which doesn't make any sense. The complete disregard of society as a character in the movie makes the movie less interesting and exhausting. MUSIC The music is beautiful, funky and fresh but it has been used at the most unwanted places. Some songs are fine, but there was no need to have a song after every ten minutes. It breaks the flow again. CONS The movie runs for more than two hours which was not required. Confusion could have been brought down a lil bit. PROS Music. Beginning. Unconventional story telling which falls flat unfortunately

Tanhaji has some great things. Good cinematography, intricate and violent war sequences, folktale-ish story and awesome casting. Everyone looked like they were born to portray these characters they were playing. It has some hilarious moments as well. I personally would have preferred a little less violence because of which I would say people should not take their kids to watch this film. Devgn was wonderful as Tanhaji, his screen presence was tremendous and zi am so happy for the great success of this movie because Devgn definitely needed it. Kajol was gorgeous. She didn't even need many lines to emote the sadness with which audience were left at the end. Khan was a treat to watch,such a balanced and smooth performer he has become. Kelkar looked awesome as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The makers should make merchandise with his face as Raje on it. The movie has a great story which plays out like a folk tale, factual yet the parts which have been introduced through cinematic liberty, absolutely well done. The cinematography will leave you spell bound. War strategy and sequences were on point which are some essential aspects of a war film. Loved the movie. Loved the characters. As a kid I had read the story "Chadh Yashwanti" as Yashwanti was the name of the pet Monitor Lizard of Tanhaji whom he used in his guerilla warfare every time. Yet the makers decided to exclude the animal and yet used two warrior bothers to represent the animal. I wish they had shown a monitor lizard doing it's stuff. Lively movie, and a must watch for Historical movie buffs.

This movie looks like a painting. Every frame is artistic and Raisa Padamsee looks beautiful as the character should in this story. Duvidha captures the intimate feel of the story perfectly. While many bollywood lovers might find it slow and boring by bollywood standards, people with an artictic bent of mind would love it for sure. I wanted Padamsee's character Lachhi to say something throughout the movie but the silent portrayal of the character makes more sense as it helps to drive home the point that both the writer 'Bijji' and the director Kaul wanted to highlight through this story. A woman who didn't have any say in any decision of her life took one decision that changed her life completely and she goes back to the same submissive void that her life becomes when the movie ends. This is not a fairytale even if it has a ghost and some magic. Many might have seen another adaptation of Duvidha named 'Paheli' which sort of gives justice to the character of Lachhi with a different ending. While both the movies are aesthetically pleasing, watching Duvidha filled me with remorse while Paheli's end was satisfying. The former closer to life than the fairytale ending of the latter.
