I remember watching this when I was 12 in French class at secondary school for just 50 minutes and it was an instant hit with everyone. The authentic bond between Driss and Phillipe. Polar opposite characters becoming one in such a hilarious and beautiful way. I am now 22 and rewatching the movie; paying more attention to the acting, story telling and specific beats to the movie. It is an mesmerising watch with spectacular performances that cannot be recreated. This stands as a French classic movie and still holds its own to this day.
