Boxing Cats. One of the most revolutionary films of our entire species. Citizen Kane pales in comparison with this work of art. The immense amount of time put in to this film is outstanding. The setting, the plot, the decades worth of rich lore and backstory - it is truly a testament to theatre. I cannot recommend this film more. Before Boxing Cats, I never imagined a moving picture could change my entire worldview, challenge my values, and provoke my emotion to this extent. And the great metaphor throughout the film, where the cats are symbolic of our lifetime struggle within ourselves, the balance of forces between good and evil, with the announcer obviously playing the role of God, watching his supreme creation unfold before his eyes, never interfering, but forever watching. Please, do yourself a favor and watch this magnificent masterpiece, I implore you. Ahh... It is indeed such a shame Thomas Edison died before we could have seen "Boxing Cats 2 : The Great Cat-tastrophe".
