I really loved this movie. It kinda shows how humans fear something they don't understand. I found myself feeling that Robbie Smell's character was her husband until she decided that he wasn't. She shut him out of her life with such finality, and cast him aside.
At the auction, I also felt how horrible it would be for someone to own another with that person having no say or freedom to choose.
Sam Worthington's character was mourning the loss of his son due to the simulant who was supposed to be monitoring the children. He blamed all simulants, and he was pursuing the simulants who were wanting freedom and he desired to destroy them. It was very sad when he wiped and reset the simulant as she begged for her life.
Great movie!
