This book was tough to get through and not worth it. I love Wizard of Oz but this book did not do any justice to telling a tale of the Wicked Witched of the West. I really am speechless. The book is so far out to left field. I was lost and confused trying to understand the story line. Nothing made sense and questions were left after every chapter. The first section of the book was completely unnecessary and felt like a dark sinister sex story. Then the vocabulary was mostly made up. I looked several words up on Google and they didn't exist. The ending was horrible and did not connect the two stories in a way that was memorable. Huge disappointment and waste of time.
