A constant story I keep seeing is that Metacritic is full of false reviews and only the critic reviews reflect the true value of the game. If that’s the case, is there other places people can review it, say what they think about the game? The simple answer is: yes. IMDb also has the game on their sight and allows people to vote and review, even showing percentages of scores and average based on gender and age. At the time of writing this, the page has a score of 6.0 out of 10.0 based on 3500 reviews. It’s not as harsh as Metacritic’s score of 3.9-4.0 based on 50,000 user reviews, but it still outlines that people are having major reservations about this game. If you visit a sight like amazon or GameStop, their user scores also average around a 6.0. If you haven’t bought this game yet this is my advice: wait a week. The game a week from now will still be the one you get today. During that time, talk to friends who’ve played it, or if you are okay with this, watch the cutscenes online or through a let’s play. If a game is good, I’ll still play it despite knowing the story: it’s the whole purpose of replayability. Buying the game is your choice, the only thing I ask is that you do not go into this blind. It WILL increase your chances of hating this game.
