Once again, Clementine Ford has done the work to research, summarise, and articulate the monstrous efforts to manipulate society for millennia to keep women in service to men. In a world where I have felt alone in my confusion as to how smart, courageous, strong women are reduced to domestic labour whilst men faff around the home like a teenager, claiming their 8 hours away is work, Clementine invites me into a deeper understanding of how we got here and I feel seen, heard, and validated. I feel a strong sense of connection and deep hurt for our foremothers and the horrors that they endured, and I am reminded that it wouldn't take much to take our rights away (see USA and reversal of Roe V Wade). Highly recommend!!!
